Tulane’s Undergraduate Student Government is compromised of several boards, committees, and leadership positions that work to represent the Tulane student body. Scroll down to learn more about the different roles and what they entail.

Executive Board

The Executive Board of the Undergraduate Student Government serve as the primary liaisons between the student body representatives and Tulane’s administration. The Board consists of the Student Body President and Executive Vice President, as well as the Vice Presidents of Student Life, Finance, Student Organizations, and Academic Affairs.

Executive Cabinet

The Executive Cabinet is appointed by the President and Executive Vice President at the beginning of their term. Upon appointment and confirmation by the new Senate, Cabinet members serve as the chairs of the USG’s committees, coordinate with Executive Board on initiatives and legislation within their area of concentration, and seek out ways to best connect with students.

Senators

Senators represent the Tulane student body. Senators put forth legislation to improve the everyday life of all Tulane students. They also vote to pass all legislation efforts.

Freshmen Leadership Program

The Freshmen Leadership Program is designed to support, engage, and educate future leaders in the Tulane community. As a part of this program, students will be provided with the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of involvement at Tulane, enhance current and build new leadership skills, learn about the Undergraduate Student Government by serving on committees and developing initiatives, and create a diverse and well-rounded network.
